Summer fun list

 

Although it's sad to say goodbye to the summer, it was fun to look back on our summer fun list and see all the things we wanted to accomplish.

 

 

Deck crawl

We had our first deck crawl here in EJ! SO much fun. We started at our friend Jackie's house, then went to my house, then ended the night at Carisa's house. It was awesome!! And since we all live within a couple blocks of each other, the point was that we would walk from deck to deck. I can't wait until the next one!

 

1st day of school

This was a big day for us!! I was as excited as she was :)  We had a big breakfast then walked with basically all of EJ to school. That's what I love about this town - it's only 3 miles wide, so everyone walks everywhere. So fun. We walked with a bunch of neighbors and friends and the girls thought they were so cool!

1st day of school

While I was at a back to school party at a friend's house, Matt and Emma had a nice lunch outside.

 

 

Finally! After counting down the minutes, it was time to pick Acadia up from school! I was expecting to cry when I dropped her off at school but that didn't happen. What I didn't expect in the least, was sobbing when I caught her eye at pick up. I was surprised at how overcome I was with emotion and how much I realized I had missed her the entire day. I gave her a huge hug when I saw her and didn't want to let her go!
