Better late than never

She turned a month old recently and I'm just now getting to the pictures! The past month has been amazing and, in general, much easier than I had anticipated. Here is the month in review :)

~Emma is an awesome sleeper!! She normally gets up around once a night, around 3:30ish or so. She is, however, a very light sleeper during the day and a very, very loud sleeper! During the day she will wake up when I put her down, unless she's in a very deep sleep. I've learned to wait a while to put her down, because then she'll sleep well and not much can wake her up at that point
~Acadia has adjusted well to being a big sister. The first couple weeks were hard on her, I think, and we had lots of acting out. We've heard this is normal but it's still not any easier to deal with. I feel badly and like I'm always disciplining my "baby" which is tough on both of us. We definitely still have out bad days - days of acting out and tantrums - but I know that this, too, shall pass
~Emma likes being in her swing and is where she normally sleeps. We ended up moving her from the bassinet in our room to her swing at night because she's such a noisy sleeper!!
~Acadia loves Emma! It's so sweet to see the two of them together and it's only going to get better!
~Emma has a bit of baby acne on her face - I've heard this lasts until around 10 weeks or so and there isn't anything you can do about it
~She sleeps a lot - a LOT - I had forgotten how much newborns sleep!
