Madison Alice

Introducing my beautiful niece!!!!! Madison was born at 1:05 on November 9th. She weighed in at 5 pounds, 8 ounces and was 19 1/4 inches long. My sister was a complete rock star during labor and had the best support from Jimmy.

They didn't know what they were having, so when Jimmy came into the waiting room, we jumped up and waited to hear one of the most amazing things I've ever heard.

"So.....who would like to meet my daughter?" Said with a huge grin on his face.

Of course, the tears hit instantly and there was a lot of screaming and hugging. My mom and I ran down the hall to meet one of the most beautiful babies I've ever laid eyes on. Welcome to the world, Madison Alice.

Madi -

I am so honored to call you my niece. You were loved, so, so very loved, before you were even born. Between the Duvals and the Bouchards/Gutchells, you will have many people to support you, love you and (of course!) spoil you throughout your life.

I look forward to nail painting parties, sleepovers, vacations, graduations, and everything in between. I have always wanted a niece and Acadia and Emma are so excited to have a girl cousin! You have no idea how happy you have made our family already. Or what amazing parents you have. You are so lucky to have them as parents, as are we, to now have you in our lives.

I will always be here for you to talk with, to confide in and to have fun with. I love you to the moon and back!

PJs

Getting ready for school is always pretty crazy. There is a lot of yelling involved - both adults and kids - brush your teeth! I don't want to wear this! Do you have your coat on yet??

So when I asked Acadia if she was dressed and she said yes, I found her like this....I couldn't help but laugh!!!
