Camping Day 2

The second day of camping was just as fun as the first! It was hard to leave all our friends.

 

Little River 2012

This is the second year in a row we have gone to Little River with our friends. And two weeks after we got back, we booked our site for 2013! We have SO much fun with our EJ friends! I believe there were 83 of us total! Such a great weekend!

 

Hot lunch

Don't all moms bring their cameras to school when their daughters go through the hot lunch line for the first time?? It was pizza day today and Acadia had asked us yesterday if she could buy pizza for lunch. Matt and I thought this would be the perfect time to have lunch with her for the first time and help walk her through the line. When we got in line with her, she asked us if she could go through the line all by herself, so off we went to the back of the line. LOL! But I was still able to take pics of my big girl! :)

 

1st soccer practice

Acadia had her first soccer practice tonight. I don't know what's cuter - Acadia in soccer gear or seeing my husband coach her! They both had a great time and even Emma got into it, kicking the soccer ball around :)

 

Fishy

I offered to take care of the class fish for the summer and we had to bring it back to school today. The girls had fun feeding it :)  And the cutest part was the picture I saw taped to the back of the tank. In the beginning of the school year, it bothered Acadia that Fishy was alone all night so she drew a picture of her with the fish and asked to tape it to the tank. She is such a thoughtful, sensitive child. Love her!!

 

 

Lunch at Three Tomatoes

We decided to take the girls to lunch today - a rare treat! Normally if we're going to lunch, it's at a park or somewhere like Al's, so this was a special treat for us all to go to a "nicer" restaurant with them. They even had calamari for the first time and loved it! They ended up eating half of Matt's plate full of them.

 

Matt has been asking everywhere we go for the past month or two if the bar can make Mojito's but no one has fresh mint. But Three Tomatoes had mint! Mojito's = a happy Matty! And we thought we would put on a movie for the girls after lunch so we could finish up our drinks. Brilliant!

 

Dinner with the Landermans

We had our friends over tonight. Their oldest son was in Acadia's class in preschool and now their daughter is in Emma's class. We always have a lot of fun with them - they are so sweet and laid back. We love hanging out with them!
