Burton Halloween Party

We went to Burton's annual Halloween party tonight! Such a blast! I don't know who has more fun at these parties - the kids or the parents! Acadia bobbed for donuts, walked through the offices to get candy, colored and ended our night with pizza in their cafeteria :)

Our little bumble bee and princess!

Hate

Sooooo...the day I've been dreading is finally here. Acadia just said she hated something. OMG. Hate and stupid are two words I've been dreading hearing her say.

She was in her room with Emma and she said, No Emma! And I asked what was wrong and she said Emma was in her house (in her room) and she said, And I hate it when she's in my house!

So I told her to come into my room and told her that we never, ever, ever say that word and that she can say that she doesn't like Emma being in her house but she can not use the word hate, ever. And I asked her where she heard that word and she said, Ummmm.....my thumb! Yeah, he told me that word! And held up her thumb....LOL!!

Hmmm...she's covering for someone!

Vermont Gardens

We met some friends from preschool at Vermont Gardens this morning. Even though our day was cut short with a little rain, it was SUCH a fun morning!! Vermonters - if you have never been here, you should! It's awesome and designed with kids in mind. It's really beautiful! Emma and Acadia had so much fun exploring :)

Adams

We went to Adam's for Acadia's very first school field trip! It was so much fun :) The girls had a blast and absolutely loved picking all the apples. They kids each were allowed to bring one apple home and at brought the rest to school to make homemade applesauce with the kids.

Having a snack after apple picking :)

Jennifer Paradee Photography

The ladies in my book group recently went to a local event, Cocktails Curing Cancer. I decided, fairly last minute, to donate a session to the cause. It occurred to me that I should take a picture of my GC, brochure and business card, in case they change over the years :)
