I can't help it. I LOVE my children's birthdays!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it. Every year becomes more and more fun, as they can play more and get more excited about the daily events. We have a few traditions for their birthdays - they always wake up to balloons, have ice cream for breakfast, get their nails done and we either have lunch at Beansie's or Al's, depending on the weather. Then we play for a while and they are allowed to choose whatever they want for dinner and we usually watch a movie together. I love traditions in our family and the idea that they may one day pass these traditions onto their children :)
Seeing the decorations
Doing the "birthday march" and signing happy birthday. My family (ie. my mom, sister, grandparents) have a tradition where we line up smallest to tallest and parade out to the birthday person with all their gifts, singing happy birthday.
A little Kitty to go with the one she got in Disney!
How old are you today??
