Ballet

At LEAST once or twice a day, our children perform ballet for us...specifically, the Nutcracker. The love it. LOVE. And normally Emma is the prince and Acadia is the princess. I hope they never stop...

Christmas morning

What a magical, amazing morning! The girls were thrilled with every gift - even the monkey trash can we got them. Yes, that's right. We got them a monkey trash can for their bathrooms. We rock. Oh, and we got them socks. Amazing. But the best thing is they really were excited about every present!

Christmas Eve at home

For the second year in a row, Oma gave us Reindeer food for the girls to give Santa's reindeer. We had made cookies earlier in the afternoon, so we put some cookies and milk out for Santa and carrots out for the reindeer. The girls had a great time sprinkling the Reindeer food out in the front yard! And after that, we put the girls into their Christmas pj's and read The Night Before Christmas. Pretty much a perfect night!

Christmas with the Bouchards

Have I mentioned before how much I LOVE my family?? We have so much fun together, especially at Christmas. This was our first Christmas without Grandma and while I'm sure we were all thinking of her every second of the night, it was surprisingly not a sad evening. I was dreading us all together without her for the first major holiday - the thought of it made me sad, but Auntie Becky did the most amazing job - it was so fun!!

Christmas with the Paradees

Christmas this past year with my inlaws was literally one of my top 5 favorite Christmases with anyone - EVER. We had the BEST time! It was sooo relaxing, everyone was in an awesome mood, I took a nap!!, we had a bon fire and roasted marshmallows - basically the perfect day!!
